PLANNING consent for infrastructure works including site levelling, drainage, access and landscaping has been granted for the former Anderson High School site.
The next major milestone in the multi-million pound Knab redevelopment has been given the green light – despite major opposition from neighbouring residents.
LERWICK Community Council has added its concerns on the latest plans for the redevelopment of the old Anderson High School site. Supporting an objection from local residents, chairman Jim Anderson expressed worry over the proposed access on Gressy Loan, as well as other traffic.
RESIDENTS living near to the former Anderson High School have formally lodged an objection to plans for the infrastructure and ‘public realm’ elements of the site’s redevelopment. The residents, mainly of Gressy Loan, also claim their views continue to be “disregarded”.
