Joni Truman, 38, is being held without bail in the DeSoto County Jail on one count of first-degree murder – premeditated. The DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office arrest report states Truman called 911 and when asked what her emergency was, said, “Yes, ma’am, I just killed my husband.” She told the dispatcher she used a “9mm pistol” and killed her husband because “I believe I am insane.” ....
