With Envision Saint John, We’ve been having the chance to play tourist in our hometown.
We know that Saint John has such rich roots in history and culture.
Today Jan and I got to take a tour of the Jewish Historical Museum
on Leinster Street.
Honestly, They were great.
They are truly proud of their heritage and were very gracious in
explaining traditions such as Passover, Holiday’s like Hannukah
and even down to details such as why bread doesn’t contain yeast.
Here is the explanation John gave;
During Passover, Jews don’t eat anything that contains yeast.
