Fred W. Campbell Jr.

Thursday, December 24, 2020 8:49 am  Fred W. Campbell Jr. gained his heavenly wings at Tennova Healthcare on Sunday, Dec. 20, 2020. Affectionately known as Butter Cup, he was 85 years of age, born July 15, 1935, in Cleveland to the late Lola and Fred Campbell Sr. He was preceded in death by his late parents; his mother and father-in-law, Prudy and Ed Johnson; granddaughter, Crystal Stovall-Kinamore; and brother-in-law, Allen Dog Johnson. Fred Butter Cup was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church where he was baptized at an early age. He was a member of the male chorus and was a faithful member of Wednesday night Bible Study. He enjoyed visiting other community churches and later became a member of Green Chapel Church in Charleston, Tn. He was a graduate of College Hill School and he retired from Bowater Paper Mill after
