Come and hear what i have to say. I thought i would begin with the 2012 election and im sure you are aware come after that election, many people proclaimed the death of modern american conservatism. One commentator said the titanic is sinking, referring to american conservatism. Another observe the conservative arguments we heard in this election are going to be relics in museums very shortly. Lots of people said conservatism really its message and its methods if it was ever going to win an election again. Its still being debated today. I noticed in this mornings wall street journal scott walker has a piece about what he needs to do to be relevant. His thought is they dont need to give up their principles, they need to be stronger on their principles and people are looking for that kind of leadership. Care system is broken and the polls say that 70 percent say it is broken. Right. I do think healthcare will be the number one domestic policy issue in the president ial election. In a recent poll that just came out from gallup that said 35 percent of the American People polled rate healthcare as extremely important as one of the issues and we have seen 53 percent of americans support singlepayer but now 65 percent are supporting the public option which is a supplemental Insurance Plan to compete i call it the steppingstone approach to government run healthcare. Host they say the proof is in the pudding if you look at the last election cycle two years ago, my party were ousted as the majority in the house to make the argument regarding healthcare and many of us campaign on repeal and replace and unfortunately we did not get that done and that was shown at the ballot box.
