First responders rescued the driver of a car that was sinking in a Grayslake pond Friday.
The rescue took place next to the shopping center at 100 S. Atkinson Road just after noon, authorities said.

A car crash on Route 60 and Bacon Road left three people hospitalized, one in serious condition and two with non-life threatening injuries, according to Battalion Chief Jim Weidman of the Grayslake Fi.
