Thanks for being with us. Im bill wadell. This bitter cold weather is affecting a lot of peoples plans this weekend. Heres a live look outside from atop our studios here in Roanoke County. The temps will continue to plummet the winds expected to kick up then some of us will see snow. Taylors here with us. This is one of those weekends where its a good idea to limit how much time youll be spending outside. Layers will be the key this weekend, bill. A wind chill advisory will go into effect in about an hour for most of the viewing area including roanoke. Wind chill values have already dropped near zero in hot springs, and are forecast to reach that mark in the lower elevations later tonight.
