is if this is all they ever get on donald trump, somebody would call this a chicken feed, using a different word. if there is a criminal conspiracy to violate campaign finance laws, that could be an important situation. times have changed under trump and not for the better. i guess there was a time we would all be thrilled in a negati negative way to hear the president on the phone with his lawyer to pay off. go back to clinton, go back to kennedy, wherever, wouldn t be shocked to know this kind of thing happened in the past. but we have a tape, the president s own voice, talking about funding, cash versus checks, all of the details of a
he s fit to lead versus, of course, the president s individual right to his privacy. well, if you had to sort of balance those two things, the public s right to know and the president s privacy, it s tilted towards the president s privacy just because of the confidential nature of this sort of information about, you know, one s health. if the doctor, you know, in this case, doctor the white house doctor thinks there s some sort of direct and immediate threat either to the president s health or to other s health because of what s happening with the president, there are some stipulations that may allow that information to get shared. it just doesn t happen, brooke, it s very unlikely we re going to get any kind of information like that from the president, we just don t expect it. 30 seconds, what do we know about previous president s health? you know, it s interesting, there s been a lot of president s who ve had significant medical conditions, you know, go back to kennedy, for e
going to say an awful lot about mitt romney. if he goes with pawlenty or portman, then he is that manager who wants to have the stage to himself. and have a subordinate basically, not that both of these gentlemen aren t hugely successful in their own rights. if he does go with a chris christie, it s somebody willing to take the chance to do what it takes to win. yeah. we ll learn what kind of a risk taker he is and how comfortable he is. he would be with somebody who s not like him. who s different from him. and that will tell us i think a lot about mitt romney. what s the record of presidential candidates who pick a who make it that sort of dissident or really distinct pick for vice president. you know, mccain and palin? there was certainly a difference there. that didn t work out well. go back to kennedy and johnson.
