Describing what within the for the people act he can support, its a sign of progress, but it doesnt go far enough. It gives me further hope and optimism well succeed in passing the for the people act, but we need to go further. With republicans including Mitch Mcconnell Signaling they wont support any bill that puts elections in the hands of the federal government, it could be a long road ahead. Then theres infrastructure, with a group of bipartisan senators still working out the kinks, progressives are beginning to weigh in on what they like and dont like about the bill. One of the concerns that i do have about the bipartisan bill is how they are going to pay for their proposals. And theyre not clear yet. I dont know that they even know yet, but some of the speculation is raising a Gas Tax, which i dont support. A fee on electric vehicles, privatization of infrastructure.
