Global PC Shipments: The research firm, however, pointed out that despite the improved results, the December quarter was the eighth consecutive quarter of annual shipment volume contraction – and the lowest fourth quarter volume since Q4 2006.
Apple’s shipments reached 6.8 million units in the June quarter of 2023, helping the vendor secure the fourth slot in the market with an 11% share. Canalys said its performance was boosted by the launch of the new 15-inch Macbook Air, as well as due to a favorable comparison quarter due to the supply chain disruption it faced last year.
