Loloee, who represents District 2 in north Sacramento, also owns the Viva Supermarkets chain. The indictment alleges he and a business partner falsified immigration documents, withheld overtime pay and fraudulently obtained COVID-19 relief funds.
The U.S. Department of Labor investigated Sean Loloee’s Viva Supermarket businesses several times dating back to 2009, before filing a lawsuit in April 2022.
