The long-awaited dream of turning our historic Nevada State Prison into a historic tourism attraction is about to become a reality soon thanks to the dedication of past and current committed volunteers of the Nevada State Preservation Society who have stayed the course and not let politics, naysayers, or any other setbacks dampen their enthusiasm.
Please join us at Dangberg Historic Park as Glen Whorton returns to speak on "Film Production at the Historic Nevada State Prison". Some films include "Desperate Trails"from 1921 starring Harry Carey, "An Innocent Man" from 1989 starring Tom Selleck and "The Mustang" from 2019 starring Bruce Dern. This is a free event for all to attend.
