let s turn to dave murphy and karen rogers. good morning to you both. all right guys we have storm tracker six live double scan focused in on the southern portion of the region where there is a shower and maybe even a thunderstorm starting to well up in camden county about halfway down the county from philadelphia. there are also a couple of showers out to the south of us down in cape may county. most of that is fairly light stuff popping in and as we take a look, we are going to probably be maintaining fairly cloudy conditions or for the morning hours anyway and then we get into the afternoon and we wind up seeing some clouds and sun. might even see some sunny breaks during the morning. we are basically looking excuse me, at warm and humid morning. there is the possibility of some more of these spotty showers popping up a little bit later in the day and we ll see a high of 86 this afternoon. will any of these storms produce any damage potentially like we saw from last
blustery and colder this morning. especially compared to the 50s we had earlier this weekend. that s the big difference we re not acclimated to this any more. temperatures were in the 50s for the last 2 1/2 weeks and now we have windchills in the 20s again. we are layers, coat, gloves and hat. feels like 25 with the wind in philadelphia. 15 in the poconos, 29 in millville. 29 in cape may. and 28 degrees in dover. here s storm tracker 6 live there s that little strip of flurry activity it s off to the southwest across new castle county in delaware, delaware, chester and lancaster counties in southeastern pennsylvania. gloucester, camden, salem and cumberland counties in south jersey, nothing of significance, just a few flakes flying this morning. the bark is much worse than the bite with this. a lot of it is not reaching the ground because the air is so dry. we ll see a combination of sun and clouds later this afternoon. it will be a decent day, highs around 43 degrees. with t
clear the sky a little bit later tonight, 10 to 11 o clock your temperature sitting at 40 degrees and double scan showing a new storm developing that will bring blizzard like conditions into parts of high what and that storm cuts to our north and west and brings a flood watch for noon and wednesday for the heart of the philadelphia region. we ll talk about this flood watch and what it could mean in the full accuweather forecast. after months of buildup the 2016 presidential election begins today. all of the candidates are in the hawk aye state pushing for last minute votes. the caucuses begin in iowa in just under four hours. the latest polls show it could be tight especially for democrats. let s go to the republican side though where polls show donald trump is the favorite to win tonight with ted cruz coming in second but for the democrats bernie sanders leads hillary clinton but the three-point gap is within the margin of error meaning it s a statistical dead heat. a
