Target, CVS latest to permit customers to go maskless

TribLIVE s Daily and Weekly email newsletters deliver the news you want and information you need, right to your inbox. NEW YORK Target and CVS are the latest retailers to no longer require vaccinated shoppers or workers to wear a mask in its stores. “Given the (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention)’s updated guidance, Target no longer requires fully vaccinated guests and team members to wear face coverings in our stores, except where it’s required by local ordinances,” said a statement on the company’s website. “Face coverings continue to be strongly recommended for guests and team members who are not fully vaccinated and we continue our increased safety and cleaning measures, including social distancing, throughout our stores.”
