WPTV has partnered with the Scripps Howard Fund and Scholastic to allow each student at Weatherbee Elementary School to take home three free books through the "If You Give a Child a Book" campaign.
KOAA News5's annual "If You Give a Child a Book" campaign began Monday, January 29. During the campaign, News5 partnered with Title 1 schools to give books to underserved students living in poverty.
Your donations along with sponsors North Island Credit Union, Scripps Howard Fund, and ABC 10News allowed Smythe Elementary to get the books starting Monday, which is National Reading Day.
