RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Two Brazilians reached the round of 16 in men s surfing at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics on Saturday, 24. Ítalo Ferreira won the sport s first heat at an Olympics with 13.67 points in the competition held at Tsurugasaki Beach. Gabriel Medina competed in the last heat of the day and also won first place, with 12.23 points overall.

El skateboarding vivió este domingo en Tokio su estreno histórico en unos Juegos Olímpicos y lo hizo con la categoría masculina de street, en la que el primer oro fue para el local Yuto Horigome, mientras que Kelvin Hoefler estrenó el medallero de Brasil en Japón al colgarse la plata.
