Learning programme to help Redcar women affected by abuse

Sarah Charlton, left, and Gill Horner from Eva Women’s Aid in Redcar. A SMALL charity with big ideas has developed an intensive new learning programme to help women move on from domestic abuse. EVA Women’s Aid, based in Redcar, has now had its new course – Changes – accredited by a national examining body, OCN London. CEO Richinda Taylor said the news of the successful accreditation was a moment of hope in a tough year, arriving in time for International Women’s Day. Mrs Taylor commented: “I am very proud of our team for what they have achieved. We have two courses with waiting lists, Freedom and EVA-lution, and Changes came in response to women asking us for the next step.
