CARTERSVILLE, GA Cartersville s assistant city planner is moving to Rome to be its new assistant city manager.
Meredith Ulmer, who s been with the City of Cartersville since 2014, is expected to start her new job sometime in mid-June, according to a report in The Rome News-Tribune.
Ulmer previously had served Cartersville as city clerk and code enforcement officer, according to her LinkedIn profile. Before that, she was a professor at Georgia Highlands College in Cartersville and a case manager with the Georgia Department of Human Services in Cherokee County. Ulmer holds a master s degree in public administration from Kennesaw State University and bachelor s degree in political science from Brenau University.
