Ex-labor secretary to speak at 'Future of Work' event

May 7, 2021 Thomas Perez, U.S secretary of labor during the Obama administration from 2013-17 and chairman of the Democratic National Committee from 2017-21, is the guest in the ILR School’s upcoming eCornell series “The Future of Work: Labor in America.” He will discuss the rapidly changing labor landscape with Alexander Colvin, Ph.D. ’99, the Kenneth F. Kahn ’69 Dean and the Martin F. Scheinman ’75, MS ’76, Professor of Conflict Resolution. Cathy Creighton ’87, director of ILR’s Buffalo Co-Lab, will moderate the event, which begins at 2:30 p.m. May 10. The event is free and open to the public.
