The man who shot and killed eight people Thursday at a FedEx facility in Indianapolis and then killed himself has been identified as Brandon Scott Hole, according to Indianapolis police. It remains unclear why Hole, 19, shot and killed the eight workers at the facility near Indianapolis International Airport, but Indianapolis police had confiscated a gun and took Hole into custody last year following suicide threats. Indianapolis police also reported Friday afternoon that Hole was a former FedEx employee. He last worked for the company in 2020, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Deputy Chief Craig McCartt said. McCartt said a rifle was found near Holeâs body.
