Bill and martha are off. The storm stranded travelers for hours and the delays had ripple effects all across the country. I started down the runway and we got shut down and we had to sit there and wait for them to open the air space again. Reporter that woman you just heard, it took her 12 hours to fly direct from austin, texas to newark, new jersey. And she was one of the lucky ones. Much of the east coast was hit with a sloppy, wintry mix making for a miserable commute on one of the busiest travel days of the year. 751 flights were canceled nationwide.
