Good monday morning. Im ryan smith in for t. J. Holmes. And im reena ninan. We begin with the breaking developments out of nepal. The scramble to find survivors buried under a mountain of destruction. The death toll from saturday saturdays 7. 8 earthquake and aftershocks as passed 3,000. Across nepals capital, kathmandu, the scene is utter devastation. Piles of rubble, bodies and shellshocked survivors too afraid to go back indoors. And the sheer magnitude of the power of this earthquake can best be seen in these before and after photos of kathmandus collapsed landmark, mission tower. The ninestory tower was built in 1832 and these pictures show part of the old royal palace. These photos were taken just an hour apart before and after that earthquake. Meantime, were getting a look at how deadly the drama played out on mt. Everest. As the earthquake triggered a deadly avalanche, at least 18 climbers were killed dozens more injured and this morning hundreds remain stranded. Helicopters ar ....
