President trump says he is imposing more sanctions on iran to stop it developing nuclear weapons. But he says military action is still on the table. Iranian forces shot down an american surveillance drone on thursday. Mr trump then ordered three air strikes in response. But he says he called them off with minutes to spare because too many people would have died. He told reporters its now up to iran to stop the tensions escalating further.
