Facebook Share Most people couldn’t wait for 2020 to end, but Mo Davis found a lot to smile about in the past year despite the coronavirus pandemic. “It has been hard on a lot of people,” she says, “but in terms of my career, it was my best year yet.” In September, the 43-year-old native of West Blocton, Alabama, received the biggest honor of her career when Harper’s Bazaar magazine named her among the top 62 wedding photographers in the world. “After that, my life was pretty crazy,” she admits. “To be on that list with names I’ve looked up to in the photography industry was a surreal experience.”
