Working closely with the Remediation Project Lead, the Technical Project Accountant will be heavily involved in creating the roadmap for the project. This will require extensive interaction with various teams across the organisation to fully understand existing process and policies and where improvements need to be made in order to achieve objectives. Additionally, the role holder will offer support in creating the framework for measuring balance sheet clearance activities, stakeholder communication and the escalation process.
Once the road map is in place, the Technical Project Accountant will review and approve transactions documented by third party support teams and clear balance sheet items whilst continuously looking to improve processes and increase the rate of clearance.

You’ll be empowered to play a pivotal role in shaping and achieving the firm’s vision for the future, whilst also using your strategic level experience of finance and operations matters to ensure the continued efficient, innovative and profitable running of the business.
