Led by student food drives coordinator, Anna Adams, Full Circle brought in 8,800-plus items, with over 20 groups across campus donating, including residence halls, academic departments, RSOs and more.
Hellmann s and iHeartMedia came together to make a donation that helps support the pantry s mission. The gift represents a typical entire year s budget for the Full Circle Campus Food Pantry.
Originally from Hot Springs, Viscardis came to the U of A to study biology. He s president of the EMPOWER RSO, volunteers at the Full Circle Food Pantry and is a research assistant in the FullStackNeuro Lab.
The Full Circle Food Pantry will be giving out 180 Thanksgiving baskets this fall with items such as green beans, rice, instant mashed potatoes, pineapple tidbits, cornbread stuffing, canned sweet potatoes and cranberry sauce.
