fight. this is an issue where there is never subtlety. frankly, there is never much of a discussion of constitutional law. roe was a rather political decision to try to please the majority of people in the country by creating the trimester system and trying to land a very thorny constitutional question, which has turned into a really hot political war. so the midterms, it cuts in different ways. the more people in the country are pro-choice than pro-life. roe very symbolic, a flag in all that. but in a lot of places there is a pro-life conservative, more rural working majority, places like mississippi. so you have to get down to the fulcrum voters. it is good for the democrats. one, it will raise a lot of money and people get intense on the pro-choice side, they will be furious. on the pro-life side, they will see it as a human rights victory.
