On Nov. 14, N.W.T. voters will head to polls to elect the next Legislative Assembly. The issues facing the territory are significant the election comes after a summer of wildfires, and in the midst the impending closure of major diamond mines, a declining population and a housing crisis.
Despite this summer’s wildfire emergencies, and recent years’ devastating floods and the COVID-19 pandemic, there are at least 30 people who have said they're keen to lead the territory through any future crisis as MLAs.
