The project will synchronize all traffic signals along an eight-mile section of PCH between John Tyler Drive and Topanga Canyon Boulevard, add new CCTV cameras at each intersection, and replace existing signal poles with new ones.
Niamh Rolston, Peyton Stewart, Asha Weir and Deslyn Williams were killed in a crash along PCH in Malibu on Oct. 17. The driver charged with their murders was accused of going 104 mph.
