Reserves boss Chris Kiwomya is hoping to set up some friendlies during November so as to avoid going a month without any fixtures. This week’s planned Totesport.com Football Combination East Division game against Luton was postponed last week because the Hatters are in FA Youth Cup action.
Luciano Civelli and Damien Delaney are expected to be in the reserves side which takes on Oxford United at Portman Road this afternoon (KO 2pm). The duo are returning from knee and thigh injuries respectively.
Town s reserves matches will be at Portman Road on Wednesdays, kicking off at 2pm next season. In previous years the second string played on Mondays at 7pm when at the club s main ground and at 2pm when at Playford Road.
Town s reserves romped to an 8-0 final game of the season victory at Stevenage Borough on Wednesday afternoon. Connor Wickham netted a hat-trick, Tom Eastman two and Dean Bowditch, Ed Upson and Ronan Murray one each.
