It was a year of celebrating championships, clutch performances, a dynasty extended, golfing sisters, reaching perfection, magical runs which came up just short, and the promise of future memories with two professional teams headed to Lowell.
Westford Academy senior Paul Bergeron showed his unwavering toughness as he ran with the leaders throughout the 3.1-mile course at Franklin Park and ultimately finished a strong third for the second consecutive year in 15 minutes, 2 seconds.
