his argument is the contrast that he wants to draw is that he is traditionally conservative. the most traditionally conservative of the candidates, including donald trump. that he is the adult in the room, which is effectively the argument he is making about january 6th and the lead-up to it, where he told donald trump he wasn t going to do things he thought violated the constitution. that s his argument. so far it s not working with the vast majority of republicans. i think you will hear him, as he often does, make that argument with a pretty full throat. this morning, republican nominees are speaking at an event in atlanta with erick erickson. they are not addressing trump and his legal troubles. trying to focus on policy issues. is this something that could maybe work for these candidates going forward when the entire oxygen is about donald trump in the republican world?
the transition. he was one of the top people in contacts and communication with all of these various foreign governments, including people coming from russia and from israel. and that i believe one of the preens kushner hasn t resigned and hasn t been walled off from some of these decisions, the president is comfortable with his family members, helping him in his presidency. he didn t come to washington with a lot of friends. he was an outsider and he is relying on his daughter and his son-in-law to help him move his agenda along. so that s part of the reason the president and the white house he believeded up in this hot water with investigators. because the president hasn t provided that wall between family and business. he s mixed the two together and it has become something the white house has struggled to deal with. right now they re trying to focus on the agenda. trying to focus on policy issues. a number of people in the white house do not want to be swept up in this investigatio
a policy interest. that to me is the biggest mistake the white house is making here. they have a huge crowd there, a lot of energy, a lot of moment you will. you need to get off the attacks on the press and focus on policy issues because the bottom line is you can t run for president over and over again. you have got to govern and that s what we are missing with donald trump at this point. in the comment taers you have seen, karen, is get to work. president trump, you are now getting out in the field again, at a rally in a big hangar, great pictures, great energy. but get to work. how do democrats take advantage of that thematic? i have to tell you, i disagree with the premise here that this is not a wise idea. i think it is genius idea. what it does it reminds democrats in washington and republicans in washington that he is still able to draw these large crowds, that there is a lot of energy and enthusiasm and support that he has got. and that he doesn t actually have to talk abou
