There sure is a lot of hype surrounding the Ram TRX. You get to see it being raced, tested, and reviewed almost daily now, not that I have something against that. The This versus that mini-series developed by the guys at Hoonigan is back with a new episode, and this time they re dealing with two machines that would probably feel more at home on the off-road. They re still at the Santa Margarita Ranch, and guessing the outcome of this challenge might be a bit tricky.
istanbul, turkey. and this high-tech way to literally lighten the load of our troops. a robot of sorts that s described as a 21st century pack mule. trace gallagher has details on this live from los angeles. you know, the marines were testing this robotic mule affectionally called kujo. it looks more like a mechanical bull. right? a headless mechanical bull. it is actually officially called ls3, or the leg squad support system. built to traverse rugged terrain and help military supplies, carry them up for marines and other military units. ls3 can carry up to 400 pounds of gear and has enough fuel to go for 20 miles or 24 hours. the marine who operates the robot wears a sensor on his foot, and ls3 just follows along using computer vision. it has the ability to maneuver around these big objects. the marine who is in charge of testing this at the military
