Update: 11:45 p.m. Stockton police released a statement Tuesday night offering more details regarding the shooting that occurred Tuesday morning on La Cresta Way, killing Officer Jimmy Inn and suspect Lance Lowe, both 30. The 8-year-old boy who was reportedly being strangled by the suspect has been medically cleared and released to his mother, police said; the female domestic violence victim “walked away from the scene” and authorities say they are still trying to make contact with her.
