The new state mandate requires an additional public hearing for the city tax levy. This public hearing will be held at 5:30 p.m. Monday, April 8, at Oelwein City Hall.

Burlington, Ia- The Burlington City Council has announced they will hold a public hearing to discuss a proposed Fiscal Year City property tax levy.
The hearing will be held on Tuesday, February 16th at 5:30 PM at the City Council Chambers.
At the public hearing, any resident or taxpayer may present objections to or arguments in favor of the proposed tax levy. After the adoption of the proposed tax levy, the Council will publish notice and hold a hearing on the proposed city budget.
