Good evening. Reeta chakrabarti will be here shortly, when well be joined by viewers on Bbc One for a full round up of the days news. But first, a leading scientific adviser has suggested that people who have been double vaccinated could face fewer restrictions. Dr Susan Hopkins of public Health England told the bbc that might include the possibility of them not having to self isolate or quarantine. Ministers are aiming to have two thirds of the Adult Population Double jabbed by the new Unlocking Date of 19july. Earlier, Professor Peter Openshaw from Imperial College told me that it was difficult to ease restrictions for some and not for others. Its been a bit controversial what to do in terms of allowing greater freedoms to people who have been vaccinated at a time when not everyone has been offered a vaccine, because obviously that rather discriminates in favour of people who have been offered vaccines and discriminates against people who for various reasons have not been vaccinated.

In the last few days. That compares with a monthly average here of around 48 mm, so its already been a very wet month, and of course, weve got Plenty Ofjune still left. Whereas further north, for wales, Northern England and scotland as well, its been dry. Only six mm of rain recorded so far in both edinburgh and aberdeen. On sunday, we had the cloud across most parts of the Uk Thanks to several Weather Fronts, and weve got more cloud and more rain to come on monday as well. The heaviest rain will be from this front in the south. It will definitely be very wet across southern coastal counties, but well start to see some of that rain drifting northwards. Theres some uncertainty how much rain well get across the midlands and east anglia, but it could turn very wet. Another very weak Weather Front drifting into Northern England, bringing some splashes of rain here. Between, a bit of brightness, but the best of the Days Weather and sunshine will be across scotland and Northern Ireland. Here
