The Sindh government has barred the people of Karachi from going out after 8pm unless absolutely necessary.
In a coronavirus task force meeting on Monday, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah instructed the Sindh inspector-general to limit movement in the city. The police will take action against people out for no reason.
On Monday, the government imposed a smart lockdown in the following neighbourhoods of Karachi’s District Central:

KARACHI: Sindh High Court’s division bench headed by Justice K. K. Agha on Thursday directed the superintendent of the Central Prison Karachi to appear before it on July 20 along with complete record of a prisoner who reportedly went missing from the jail.
The bench asked the investigating officer to look into this aspect after the lawyer for petitioner contended that the report of jail authorities about “release” of the missing person was bogus.

The district administration of the District Central imposed more micro-smart lockdowns in its jurisdiction on Saturday night due to the rapid spread of the Covid-19 infections in the country.
According to a new notification released by the District Central deputy commissionerâs (DC) office, micro-smart lockdowns would remain enforced until May 8 in areas of four sub-divisions of the district â Gulberg, Liaquatabad, North Karachi and North Nazimabad.
The lockdowns have been imposed on recommendations of the district health officer. According to the recent notification, there are as many as 23 COVID-19 patients in Gulberg Town of District Central and the micro-smart lockdown has been placed in Block 7, Block 17, Block 12, Block 13, Block 14, Block 15 and Block 19 of Gulberg.
