EUGENE, Ore. One man is making a last stand against efforts to sweep him under the rug.
Damien Farah is the last one living under the Ferry Street Bridge off East 6th Avenue. He said he became homeless a few years ago, and since then he’s lived in different parts of Eugene.
The man told KEZI 9 News that he’s been camping off East 6th Avenue for about eight months, but the city gave him until dusk Thursday to move his things. ....
