Different musicians get their inspiration from several sources. Some are inspired from the most unlikely places while some get their creative juices flowing from everyday occurrences. However, for singer, Suraj Awoyemi, popularly known as Femmia, he is not shy to admit that he is inspired by love.
The singer told
Sunday Scoop, “I believe that music is a way of life. What one is, is what one would sing about because one cannot give what one does not have. As for me, love is my major source of inspiration. My creativity is also sparked by serenity, peace, the cosmos, beauty, colours, joy and happiness. I believe life is beautiful and music helps to express it. Most of the ills happening in the world today would not exist if only people could love themselves a little more.
