a time when the country needed it most. today marks the 20th anniversary of the deadly september 11 terror attack that changed the lives of so many americans. much of our country has been redefined by what happened on that day. with each passing year we are reminded of the brave police officers, firefighters and first responders and everyday americans who made the ultimate sacrifice trying to save the lives of as many people as they could. we have a lot of these shows together, and here we are on the 0th anniversary. your thoughts today? greg: everybody wants a hot take or original take on something like this. especially on social media. i want my thoughts to be as mundane as possible. because when i think about this, i think about how time has flown. i can remember every moment of that day and how surreal it was. to be in the middle of something so evil. i can remember that. and i can remember thinking about what will it be like 10 years from now or 0 years from now. or 20
look, i am so disappointed that particularly some of the republican governors have been so cavalier with the health of these kids. so cavalier with the health of their communities. this is we re playing for real here. this isn t a game. here are the basics. all private companies with more than 100 workers will have to require vaccinations or weekly testing. all federal employees and contractors must get a covid shot as well as educators and federally funded programs and health care workers in settings with medicaid or medicare reimbursements. and finally the president wants entertainment venues to require proof of testing or vaccination. let s start with a primary care physician and public health specialist. dr. matthew, setting aside the politics, would you consider this good public health policy? i would. you know, i m really excited that president biden, i think for the very first time was very stern. he looked at the americans in the eyes and said enough is enough.
