Wealth giant names chief digital and information officer, while UK firm expands international service

The Switzerland-headquartered wealth manager has made several changes to its group executive board.
Mike Dargan will be promoted to chief digital and information officer, effective from 1 May. He has been at UBS since 2016 when he took on the role of head of group technology.
Markus Diethelm will step down as group general counsel after 13 years, effective from 1 November 2021. He will remain as a senior adviser to the business and be responsible for select legacy litigation cases.
Barbara Levi will succeed Diethelm. She joins from Rio Tinto Group, where she served as chief legal officer and external affairs since January 2020.
Fulcrum promotes pair of portfolio managers to partner level
Fulcrum Income manager Stephen Crewe and head of equities Fawaz Chaudhry join fund group’s senior ranks
Fulcrum Asset Management has elevated portfolio managers Stephen Crewe and Fawaz Chaudhry to its Partnership.
Crewe joined the asset manager in 2013 and is the lead manager of Fulcrum’s Income and Equity Dispersion funds. He is also a member of the broader investment team, focusing on volatility strategies. He previously spent over two decades as director of alternatives for F&C Asset Management, which later became BMO Gam.
Chaudhry (pictured) has been at Fulcrum since 2017 and is head of equities. He is lead manager of the Fulcrum Thematic Equity Market Neutral Fund and Fulcrum Climate Change Fund. Prior to joining Fulcrum, Chaudhry worked as a portfolio manager at Hadron Capital, Moore Capital Management and BlueCrest Capital Management.

York Capital Management (York), a global private investment firm, and Kennedy Lewis Investment Management (Kennedy Lewis), an opportunistic credit manager, have formed a strategic partnership to form a new entity to be called Generate Advisors. Under the partnership agreement, York’s approximately USD4 billion Collateral Loan Obligation (CLO) business and team, led by Rizwan Akhter, will transition to Generate Advisors and continue to manage York’s current CLO portfolio as well as any future CLOs issued by Generate Advisors. Kennedy Lewis will be investing in Generate Advisors and has committed at least USD200 million of capital to be invested in the equity of Generate Advisors’ future CLOs.
