There is a growing line of PFAS lawsuits alleging certain consumer goods contain PFAS, products or company’s values were marketed as healthy or environmentally friendly, and that consumers would not have purchased the products if they knew that the products contained PFAS.
Waukesha County Circuit Court judge ruled in Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce, and Leather Rich, Inc. v. WDNR, that WDNR lacked authority to regulate PFAS chemicals, WI Legislature no established regulatory standards.
