Starting today with some fun music from Fanfare Ciocarlia before moving into the incredible energy of Gnawa music, recorded live at a Sufi ceremony in Essaouira. Constantinople is finally returning to Ottawa! The last time I saw them was in February 2020, just before Covid shut down the world and music for several years. They were scheduled for another concert in spring of 2020, which was cancelled. After touring all over the world this past year, they are back!
