have as much power as big governments and businesses have to make change. i used to be that person sitting awake at night unable to sleep because of fears. i have family injamaica, i was born in jamaica, and it has become much more vulnerable because of the climate crisis. i have fears around that. but getting involved in this work has made me less anxious because it reminded me that as people we have power. throughout history we have seen that changes happen from ordinary people. it does notjust come from the top down rather the bottom up. anyone who is worried about the climate crisis at all need to remember we have power. campaigning around these type of issues help us to remember that we have power and can create change and we do not have to be consigned to a future of destruction. we can create a better one. future of destruction. we can create a better one-
