The opportunity to remix the song attracted Australian producer What So Not – aka Christopher Emerson – because he views Run The Jewels as “one of the most exciting groups out there”.
In a press statement, Emerson commented, “Starting as a bootleg, I was honoured to get the nod to put this record out, not only with RTJ, but also my childhood heroes Zack and Pharrell.”

Letâs not beat around the bush: musicâs done better than weâd have guessed it would this year, and the future is looking if not exactly bright, then it at least has a vague luminescence you can pick out if you really squint.
And lest you accuse me of being a starry-eyed Pollyanna deliberately underplaying the devastation the year has wrought, letâs first acknowledge our losses: from John Prine to Fountains Of Wayneâs Adam Schlesinger, we lost many music legends prematurely to the virus.
A lot of people in the music industry also saw their careers abruptly ended in 2020. This was particularly in the wake of the governmentâs baffling and entirely deliberate decision to exclude many in the arts industry (and the university sector, and people on visasâ¦) from JobKeeper support because, as treasurer Josh Frydenberg explained, âa line has to be drawn somewhereâ.

Premium Content  Megan Marx has confirmed her split from Jake Ellis as she launches a surprise business venture on the Gold Coast. Ellis chose to leave Bachelor in Paradise earlier this year in an attempt to rekindle his romance with Marx, who he met on a previous season of the reality show and dated for 18 months, but the pair have since parted ways again. We have been broken up for quite a while now. I m good, I m happy. I m living life, she said, ruling out a return to reality TV. I think two shows is enough and if you can t find the right person after two, it d have to be something pretty special to go back.
