Leduc face coverings bylaw remains in place for now By Al Stafford Bylaw was discussed by city council Monday, but no decisions made The Face Coverings Bylaw passed by the city of Leduc last fall remains in place for the moment. Although, the bylaw isn t really in effect. The issue came up for discussion at Monday night s city council meeting. Mayor Bob Young suggested the bylaw be rescinded. He pointed out the bylaw is redundant at the moment because all municipalities are governed by restrictions imposed by the province before Christmas. I think it s a good idea that we are following provincial guidelines, said Councillor Glen Finstad. As the mayor mentioned, it would be redundant for Leduc to have one that may or may not conflict with what the province has going. ....
