A researcher at Bishop’s University in Sherbrooke is joining the science team of NASA’s Pandora mission trying to find habitable planets in other solar systems.
Dr. Jason Rowe, Canada Research Chair in Exoplanet Astrophysics at in the Department of Physics and Astronomy, will be acting as a co-investigator and a member of the science team, it was announced last week.

The mission they’ve chosen to accept: To study approximately 20 known stars and exoplanets outside our solar system to understand their atmospheres and it’s on a budget.
