Local equestrians stood outside Costa Mesa City Hall Thursday to protest Equestrian Center rent hikes and urge fairgrounds officials to include them in future plans for the Ranch.
Organizers closing the books on another successful Orange County Fair provided insight on the activities of the more than 1 million visitors to the Costa Mesa fairgrounds this year.
The admission-free event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and inspires kids to explore their interest in science, technology, engineering, art and math through hands-on activities and play.
