Murray State's Town & Gown June 4 concert moves location due to weather

The first of two Murray State University Town & Gown concerts has been moved due to the threat of inclement weather.

Rotary concert series begins June 4

MURRAY – A summer tradition is right around the corner as the Rotary Club of Murray prepares to launch its Amphitheater Concert Series on June 4.

Bemidji Symphonic Band to perform free concert April 22

The 37-member band is made up of about one-fourth students and three-fourths community members, some of whom also play in the Bemidji Area Community Band during the summer months.

OCC Music Department Concerts April 10 and April 24

Olney Central College’s Music Department will host its Contemporary Music Ensembles and Brass Band Concert on April 10, while the Big Band and Concert/Community Band will perform on April 24. Both performances will begin at 7 p.m. in the Dr. John D. Stull Performing Arts Center. The Contemporary Music Ensembles will feature two separate bands under the direction of adjunct faculty Josh Moats and Trevor Parrent, both OCC graduates.
