good evening i m iain page. i m lucy noland police are looking for that man tonight. they want him off the streets. fox 29 s sabina kuriakose joins us live at police headquarters. sabina, incredibly scary what this guy did. reporter: lucy, can you even imagine you are sitting in your can and suddenly somebody starts shooting at you? we talk to the shopkeeper who captured this incredible surveillance video. at first the scene looks like normal traffic. red jeep loredo comes to a stop at a red light along the 300 block of north 23rd street wednesday. green forward for taurus pulls up behind it but within seconds, gunshots shatter the afternoon calm. watch as the passenger of the ford jumps out and police say fires at least three times at the jeep with a 40 caliber semi-automatic handgun outfitted with an extended magazine. the folks inside of the jeep detective has an opportunity to interview them. they hully drove off from that location and went directly to the police
didn t want to speak with reporters but members of a local swim club where the victim was also a member were shaken by the discovery of her body. she always was a really nice person. she always had a smile on her face. i m shocked to be honest with you. reporter: this woman and her daughters use the park frequently. they never imagined something like this could happen here. it s scary. especially when it hits close to home. it s a quiet neighborhood. i mean, it s loaded with kids. loaded with joggers, football, baseball. i m scared. because i sleep in the front. i don t sleep in the back. and i m upset. people should use extra caution women out there jogging or walking they should be with someone else with them for protection. reporter: now police refused to release any more details on the woman s death. there is a surveillance camera rah in the park near the scene where the body was found. police not saying at this point if they ve recovered any surveillance vi
